SBI Recruitment SBI To Hire 4200 Staff For Associate Banks Clerical Vacancy In SBI Associate Banks
The country's top lender, State Bank of India, today said that it was looking to hire more than 4,200 employees for its associate banks ~ a development that comes within a few days of its plan to recruit 25,000 people. SBI said in a public announcement today that it planned to recruit 4,280 clerical staff at its various associate banks for operations across the country. The recruitment drive for its associate banks follows SBI saying earlier last month that it would hire 25,000 people in the current financial year ~ a move that comes at a time when banks across the world are mostly trimming their workforce in the backdrop of a global financial crisis. The various associate banks for which SBI is looking to recruit staff include, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Indore, State Bank of Patiala and State Bank of Travancore. There are more than 1,000 vacancies each with State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Patiala and State Bank of Travancore, between 240 and 440 employees would be recruited for each of State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, State Bank of Indore and State Bank of Mysore. SBI chairman Mr OP Bhatt said on 16 November that SBI was hiring 20,000 clerical staff and 5,000 people in supervisory positions in the current financial year. In its previous major hiring spree, SBI had announced, about a year ago, plans to increase its as well as the associate banks' headcount by about 10,000 people. With most Delhi schools coming out with their admission criteria on Sunday, as directed by the Department of Education, parents have been frantically posting informationon www.nurseryadmissions.com. The blog has 6,640 members already.

There are more than 825 blogposts and 1,580 discussions with parents sharing tips, discussing interactions, openly alleging the violation of Supreme Court’s orders by some schools as they go about interviewing children or how many coveted seats are being sold for hefty sums of money at some of the most prestigious city schools.

At any given time, there are more than 40 parents online comparing schools, sharing lists of questions and tips to dress right for D-day. Some discussions list questions parents might have to face when they go for interactions in schools. With courts allowing schools to conduct interactions with parents for verification of documents, many schools are allocating as many as 20 points to these interactions.
