Jawaharlal Nehru University present in Delhi was shocked with the recent MMS clip that has been circulated around the campus over the past two days.
After Delhi Public School MMS video where two school students were screened in a compromising position, this is yet another MMS scandal that came to the notice from the most recognized university.
Some of the students who are suspected to be involved in this shameful activity are already suspended from the university. And the police had already started investigation regarding this case even though any official complaint is not lodged from the university end.
This year, the auctions for the upcoming IPL season 4 had a mixed feeling for me. Unlike the high price paid to the foreign players in the last Season 3, this year, almost all the top paid players are Indians.
Gautam Gambhir is the highest paid player while senior players like Saurav Ganguly and Brian Lara were unsold. Even Rahul Dravid and VVS Lakshman got sold for a price just above to the base price. Among the unsold player list, one of the yester years star batsman Jesse Ryder is also there,
What wonders me is about the Pathan family. Both the brothers-Yusuf and Irfan together priced around $4 million.
Below is the list of top paid players.
Gautam Gambhir , Kolkata Knight Riders, $2.4 million
Yusuf Pathan, Kolkata Knight Riders, $2.1 million
Robin Uthappa, Pune, $2.1 million
Rohit Sharma, Mumbai Indians, $2 million
Irfan Pathan, Delhi Daredevils, $1.9 million
Yuvraj Singh, Pune, $1.8million
Saurabh Tiwary, Royal Challengers Bangalore, $1.6 million
Mahela Jayawardene, Kochi, $1.5 million
Dale Steyn, Deccan Chargers, $1.2 million
AB de Villiers, RCB, $1.1 million
Cameron White, Deccan Chargers, $1.1 million
Jacques Kallis, Kolkata Knight Riders, $1.1 million
Muttiah Muralitharan, Team Kochi, $1.1 million
Ross Taylor, Rajasthan Royals, $1 million
Hope the KKR team makes it happen atleast this year as Shahrukh Khan spent a lot in getting key players.
