The Accountant General conducts the audit of transactions of the Consolidated Fund of the State. The findings of the audit of CAG of India are submitted to the state legislature. The Reports are normally presented in the budget session and contain the findings on the audit of the transactions of the previous year. |
This office is responsible for audit of Central and State Government offices in Kerala, State Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies, etc. and preparation of four Audit Reports of C&AG of India for the State of Kerala |
The four Audit Reports are Civil, Revenue, Commercial and Local Self Government Institutions. In addition, this office contributes to the Central Audit Reports, i.e., Audit Paragraphs on Income Tax, Customs, Central Excise, Central Autonomous Bodies etc. |
