Innovation At Work

There’s been much said and written about the subject of innovation and its relevance to the world of business. From Post-it to Velcro, from The Body Shop to Amazon.com, from the iPod to Facebook, examples of how innovation has transformed businesses abound in the world. But closer home, stories of innovation are fewer and harder to come by. While some innovators like Infosys and Air Deccan continue to get plenty of media attention, other Indians are quietly innovating, transforming the way we live, travel, work and play. These have all been uniquely Indian responses to uniquely Indian problems. Some have turned their innovations into profitable enterprises, while others have chosen to transform societies with their innovations. Innovation at Work with Menaka Doshi will be a 6 part series that will go deep into the soul of the Indian innovator.
