EAMCET and ICET Web based counselling notification is released and here are the details.As per the notification, certificate verification for ICET candidates will begin on July 19 and end on July 26 and for EAMCET candidates, it will begin on July 28 and continue till August 6.

• Admissions will be through Web Based Counseling.
• Candidates should register for Certificate Verification with all Original Certificates.
• ST Category Candidates should go to only 33 designated Help Line Centres.
• Certificate Verification of special Categories i.e., PH/NCC/CAP/Sports & Games/Anglo-Indian will be at Sanketika Vidya Bhavan, Masabtank, Hyderabad only.
• Other candidates can go to any one of the 50 Help Line centres.
• Certificate Verification is mandatory for exercising options.
• Registration Fee to be paid is Rs. 200/- .
• All Candidates whose Annual Parental income is up to Rs.1 Lakh are exempted from the payment of Tuition fee.

1. SSC or equivalent Marks memo.

2. Caste Certificate

3. Income Certificate issued after 01.01.2009. 4. Minority candidates have to produce SSC T.C. indicating Minority Status in terms of G.O.Ms.No.1. Minority Welfare (M & R) Dept, dated: 16.01.2004. 5. Certificate in support of Non-Local Status (For Non-Local Candidates).

Certificates to be produced by only ICET Candidates:

1. Degree or its equivalent 2. Intermediate pass certificate 3. Study Certificate from 9th Class to Degree.

Certificates to be produced by only EAMCET Candidates:

1.Intermediate pass certificate or its equivalent

2.VI to Intermediate Study Certificates.


ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATES TO BE PRODUCED BY SPECIAL CATEGORY CANDIDATES

PH Category: Candidates have to produce a certificate issued by the District Medical Board and only candidates who have disability of 40% and above are eligible.

CAP Category: 1. Ex-Servicemen have to produce a certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer. 2. Identity Card 3. Discharge Book for verification. Serving personnel have to produce Service Certificate from the Place of Work indicating the Relation of Candidate with the personnel. Only Candidates whose parents are domicile of A.P. are eligible to be considered under “CAP” Category.

Anglo-Indian:

Candidates have to produce a certificate issued by R.D.O/Deputy Collector having Jurisdiction over the place where they are residing.

· Printed Copies of Information placed in Website is also available from 16.07.2009 onwards at all the Polytechnics at the District Head Quarters except Khammam, Medak and West Godavari Districts. In these districts, printed copies are available at polytechnics at Kothagudem, Medak and Tanuku.

The list of Colleges, Course Codes, made available for Web Counseling will be placed in the Web on 17.07.2009 for ICET and on 24.07.2009 for EAMCET

Well yesterday EAMCET Ranks were released.There are quite some different expressions that can be heard both from the students and as well as from parents side.Those who got good marks in EAMCET lost their ranks and got less rank by the "Intermediate Marks Weightage" Procedure.So there is going to be a committee to study and analyse the pros and cons of this method by making the analysis including the results obtained by studying the results from the Governament College Students and that their performance and their ranks.

Now it is the EAMCET counselling that the students will be dreaming off !!!

And to know what actually is the EAMCET Counselling Process,read the following article that gives you some awareness.....

Registration:

Candidates will be called as per ranks at the Registration Counter. Candidates have to pay the prescribed registration fee at the counter and obtain a receipt. They have to sign in the registration book at the registration counter. After signing in the resgiter, they have to proceed to the waiting hall at the verification counters.

Verification:

Candidates have to submit all the required original certificates at the verification counter, when called. After verification of certificates, candidates have to wait in the counselling hall. They have to fill the details in the option forms provided to them (except the options).

Counselling:

Candidates will be sent to the counselling counters as per ranks. At the counselling counter, candidates shall ensure that their details are correctly displayed on the counselling terminal before viewing the vacancies. Candidates shall fill their options in the Option forms provided to them as per their priorities in the order of preference. Candidates shall make sure that the counselling staff has entered the options correctly as per their order of preference. After giving options, candidates have to wait till their name is called at the Allotment counter.

Allotment:

Allotments will be made as per merit in a sequence. If the options given by the candidates are not available at the time of allotment, they have to exercise options afresh. Once allotment is made, they are called to the Allotment counter. Candidates shall verify the allotment order for the correctness of the seat allotted and sign on the allotment order. After signing in the Allotment Order, candidates shall proceed to the bank counter for payment of fee.

Fee Payment:

Candidates can pay the fee either in the form of D.D. or in cash at the Bank Counter when called. Candidates shall proceed to the Allotment Order Issue counter after paying the fee.

Issue of Allotment Order:

Wait at the Allotment Order Issue counter till called. Candidates shall collect the Receipt of Certificates (receipt for the certificates they submitted), Allotment Order and Fee receipt at the counter. After taking the Allotment order and other receipts, candidates shall leave the premises and make room for others.

Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test

QUALIFYING MARKS FOR EAMCET – 2009

1. The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% i.e. 40 out of a total 160. However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed. But their admission will be limited to the extent of seats reserved for such categories (Vide G.O.Ms. No. 179, LEN&TE, dated 16.06.1986).

2. Further, as per G.O Ms No. 181 dated 21.05.2008 of health medical and family welfare(E1) department for admission into MBBS/BDS courses on the basis of EAMCET entrance examination, a candidate for admission to those courses must have obtained not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together both at qualifying and EAMCET examination. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC must have obtained not less than 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together both at qualifying and EAMCET examination.

It has been said that the 2009 EAMCET examinations will be held on May 14th 2009.

So the exact notification for EAMCET 2009 will be released on February 12th,2009.

The application forms for the same can be made available for selling right from February 16th,2009.

The Application fees for the same are at different time levels given below.

Application fees without fine : Rs 250 /-[Till March 18,2009]

Application fees with fine (i): Rs 500 /-[Till March 25,2009]
Application fees with fine (ii): Rs 500 /-[Till March 25,2009]

And it will be more and more as time passes on.So make sure that you fill the application form soon.
