On a tip-off, police arrested the trio from Solani bridge area of Rajouri district and recovered from them a bag containing 4 kg heroin on Sunday night, they said.
The trio has been identified as Special Police Officer Bashir Ahmed of Kulgam (south Kashmir), Mohammad Shabir and Mohammad Yaqoob of Rajouri district.
A case has been registered against them.
